Wood Working

First try to make mitered joints to make a tea box

This article is only to show the project (I forgot to take few pictures...)

I've started with a 2x6x96 Pine from the hardware store.

Then I've cut it down to obtain all sides, top and bottom

I don't have a planer... So I use a chisel to try to level the wood.

Then added some dados to slide the bottom and top pieces

Here is the assembly,

The bottom and top are slid into the sides

It was nice to make, I definitely learned that mitered joint is kind of hard to do. (I want to make frames, so I'm looking into small but somehow complex projects to practice.)
